Method 1 – Use the StarVPN App to connect to AmneziaWG VPN

The fastest and easiest way to connect to AmneziaWG VPN server is to use the StarVPN app. StarVPN supports AmneziaWG protocols in its Windows, Android, iOS and MacOS apps. Follow these simple steps to connect to AmneziaWG VPN servers:

• Download your favorite app from our homepage starvpn.com
• Register and purchase a VPN plan
• Log into the app with your username and password
• Go to settings and choose “AmneziaWG” protocol
• Connect and done!

Method 2 – Using the AmneziaWG app with StarvPN

Step1 – Register an account with StarVPN

Head on over to our pricing plan options and choose a VPN plan that suits your needs.   You can register on checkout or directly here.

Step 2 – Download the AmneziaWG Configuration

Log into the StarVPN member area dashboard.  Click on AmneziaWG Config to download the configuration file. Each slot will contain a unique AmneziaWG configuration file.

Step 3 – Download and install AmneziaWG

• Visit the official AmneziaWG GitHub repository or website.
• Download the installer for your operating system.
• Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation

Step 4 – Import the configuration into AmneziaWG

• Launch the AmneziaWG client.
• Click on the “Add Configuration” button.
• Select “Import Configuration File” and locate the awg_starvpn.conf file you downloaded from StarVPN.
• The imported profile should appear in your list of connections.

Step 5 – Connect to StarvPN

1. Click the “Connect” button in AmneziaWG.
2. If the connection is successful, your IP address should now reflect your StarVPN IP.
3. Verify the connection status by visiting WhatIsMyIP or using curl ifconfig.me in the terminal.

Thats it, you’re all done!

Once you are connected, login to the StarVPN dashbard to configure your IP Type, Geo-location and ISP. No additional configuration files are required.
